Quick guide to log into your Dahua Router

How to Easily Log Into Your Dahua Router (Step-by-Step Guide)

If you’ve ever asked yourself, "How do I log into my Dahua router?" — you’re not alone!
Many users find it tricky the first time, but don’t worry — this simple guide will have you logged in and ready in just a few minutes.

Follow these quick steps:

Step 1: Connect to the Dahua Router

Before anything else, make sure your device — whether it’s a laptop, smartphone, or tablet — is connected to your Dahua router.
You can connect either through Wi-Fi or by using an Ethernet cable.

Tip: A direct cable connection is often more stable when setting up your router.

Step 2: Open a Web Browser

Next, open any web browser like Google Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge.

In the address bar at the top, type in the router’s IP address:

👉 Common IP addresses for Dahua routers:

  • 192.168.10.110

  • or 192.168.0.1

Press Enter to proceed.

Step 3: Enter Your Login Credentials

You should now see the Dahua login page.

Here’s what to do:

  • In the Username field, type: admin

  • In the Password field, type: admin123

(Unless you or your installer changed the login details — in that case, use your custom username and password.)

Step 4: Access the Router Settings

Once logged in, you’ll have full access to your router’s settings, where you can:

  • Change your Wi-Fi password

  • Update firmware

  • Adjust network settings

  • Improve your network’s security

Tip: If you are using the default login, it’s a good idea to change the admin password immediately for better security.

What If You Can’t Log In?

If you can’t access the router:

  • Double-check you’re connected to the right network.

  • Confirm the IP address is correct.

  • Try resetting the router if you forgot the login credentials.

Conclusion

Logging into a Dahua router is easy once you know the steps!
Whether you’re setting up for the first time or just updating your network settings, following this guide will get you there smoothly.
Stay connected, and keep your network secure!

How to Set Up a WiFi Hotspot on Your Huawei Router — My Step-by-Step Guide
Posted by Attic Technologies

Hey there tech enthusiasts!

Today, I want to walk you through something super practical that many of our clients ask us about: how to set up a WiFi hotspot using a Huawei router. I’ve put together a quick video tutorial showing the whole process step by step, and in this post, I’ll break it down for you with a few helpful notes.

Whether you're setting up a shared internet connection at your business, preparing a backup hotspot at home, or just learning the ropes, this guide has you covered.

Step 1: Accessing the Router Interface

First things first — you’ll need to log in to your Huawei router. Open your browser and type in the default IP address (usually 192.168.8.1 or 192.168.1.1). Enter your login credentials — if you haven’t changed them, they should be on a sticker on the router.

Step 2: Navigating to the WiFi Settings

Once inside the router dashboard, head over to the Settings section and then select WiFi or WLAN settings. This is where we customize everything from the network name (SSID) to the password.

Step 3: Creating the Hotspot

Now here’s the fun part. Enable the hotspot feature if it isn’t already active. Set a unique SSID (name your WiFi something memorable — I always go for something fun but professional), and make sure to choose WPA2 or WPA3 encryption for maximum security. Then set your password — strong, but not something you’ll forget.

Step 4: Advanced Settings (Optional but Handy)

You can also tweak additional settings like:

  • Limiting the number of connected devices

  • Setting up a guest network

  • Scheduling WiFi availability (handy for managing usage in a shared space)

Step 5: Save and Test

Hit Apply or Save, and wait for the router to reboot if necessary. Once it’s back online, use your phone or laptop to connect to the newly created hotspot and confirm it’s working as expected.

I love how easy Huawei has made it to configure these settings, even if you’re not super techy. In the video tutorial I’ve posted above, I walk through the entire process with visuals, so make sure to give it a watch if you’re more of a visual learner.
